The i3 Plus still has a bunch of other excellent features, including its advanced cleaning system that has a 10x power-lifting suction and a three-stage cleaning process. It comes with a textured finish to keep pet hair, dust and fingerprints away.
It performs well on bare floors and cleans most of the debris however it had trouble with pet hair on low pile carpets. It is quieter and does a great job on carpets with high pile. The i3 is a bit more expensive than the Roborock S4 Max, but it comes with a self-emptying mechanism that cleans the mop pads and replenishes the water reservoir.
With the i3 app you can set up schedules for cleaning at a specific time to suit your requirements. You can also control your robot using your voice assistant to begin or stop cleaning. It also tracks your home's unique floor layout to give you a customized schedule and cleaning habits. However, it does come with a powerful vacuum system and rubber brushes that do not get caught in pet hair. It's also a great choice for carpets with a high pile because it can take care of the extra dirt and debris better than weaker vacuums. The i4 is also less demanding in terms of maintenance requirements, and has lower costs for recurring maintenance and also has a longer time of operation in its most powerful suction mode than the i7.
